About The Role

We are looking for an experienced API Developer to join our cross-functional team. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the integrations that power our internal operations and external services. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other engineers to create efficient, secure, and scalable API connections between platforms like Tableau, Asana, Slack, and Zapier. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tool-integrated environment and enjoys optimizing data and workflow automation.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and system integrations across internal and third-party platforms.
Work with business stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable API solutions.
Build and maintain automated workflows using tools like Zapier and Asana to support business processes.
Ensure data flows between systems like Tableau, Slack, and CRM platforms are accurate, secure, and timely.
Monitor and troubleshoot existing API integrations and provide technical support to internal teams.
Document integration architecture, API usage guidelines, and workflow processes.
Collaborate with data teams to ensure seamless data access and visualization in Tableau.
Advocate for and implement best practices in API security, scalability, and maintenance.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in API development and systems integration.
Strong proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON, and webhooks.
Familiarity with cloud-based tools including Tableau, Asana, Slack, and Zapier.
Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.
Understanding of OAuth, API security best practices, and data privacy principles.
Experience integrating with SaaS platforms and using no-code/low-code automation tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

20 - 30 USD per hour(Remote (Anaheim, California, US))
