Renovo Home Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. The Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting the Legal team by handling a wide range of legal tasks related to the litigation process, from initial investigation to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will also assist employment matters, contract management, corporate governance, and compliance tasks, all of which support our remodeling and construction business operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, drafting, and management of contracts related to construction and real estate projects.
Conduct legal research to support compliance and business decisions.
Manage and organize legal documents and filings to ensure compliance with regulations.
Assist in handling legal disputes and litigation preparation when needed.
Support the General Counsel with day-to-day legal operations and ad-hoc tasks.
Maintain records and track deadlines for contracts and legal filings.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
Certified Paralegal (CP) or equivalent certification (e.g., Advanced Certified Paralegal).
Experience in litigation, employment, corporate governance, licensing, or contract management is preferred.
Strong legal research, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software.
Knowledge of construction contracts, vendor agreements, and compliance regulations.
Familiarity with legal software such as Westlaw, or contract management tools.
