Job description

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and performance-driven Marketing Specialist to support product launches for top creators across YouTube, gaming, animation, lifestyle, and more. This fast-paced, hybrid role combines execution, copywriting, creative thinking, and performance reporting and presenting to drive engagement and revenue across multiple channels.

Working closely with the Manager of Marketing Strategy and directly with clients, you’ll help guide campaign execution, ensure assets are deployed accurately, and deliver polished reports with clear performance insights and recommendations. From QA to copywriting to data tracking, you’ll ensure every launch is executed with clarity, creativity, and impact.

About Juniper

Juniper is a crowdfunding and merchandise platform for independent creators. We don’t just run the funding platform (like Kickstarter), we also create the actual products, launch on creator-branded storefronts, and ship to customers! Juniper has enabled creators to crowdfund specialized products like board games and lava lamps, and fund passion projects like animated shows and charitable initiatives. Since 2016, we’ve created and launched over 2,500 unique physical products and generated over $200M in revenue for creators. Click here to view some of our products and storefronts!

Areas You’ll Own

Campaign Performance Monitoring, Optimization + Reporting

  • Create polished client-facing presentations that outline key promotional assets, timelines, and expectations to help guide creator content strategy and ensure promo alignment prior to launch.
  • Act as a key point of contact with our creators post-launch to communicate and keep promotional execution on track, ensuring assets like YouTube merch shelves, pinned comments, social posts and any other promotional content or messaging are live and performing throughout campaigns.
  • Log creator promotional activity across all applicable channels and collaborate to identify opportunities to pivot, test or build on momentum to ensure campaigns stay on track.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to track the real-time performance of launches across YouTube, email, website, and paid media using tools like Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Shopify, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining healthy email lists and segmentation strategies, identifying gaps within our email flows.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to perform A/B testing and experimentation across copy, email design, CTAs, and launch timing to improve future results.

Campaign Deployment + Quality Assurance Checks

  • Deploy 50+ creator campaigns annually across web and email platforms.
QA all campaign assets for accuracy, clear messaging, brand consistency, usability and functionality.
  • Utilize tools like Asana and custom checklists to ensure smooth, error-free launches.
  • Maintain and update deployment calendars across teams, time zones, and shifting timelines.
  • Manage Klaviyo campaigns and flows, including segmentation, testing, and performance tracking.
  • Organize and manage storefront products and collections via Shopify CMS.
Support the planning and execution of evergreen promotions between major campaigns.

Copywriting Across Various Brands and Creators

  • Write clear, engaging and on-brand copy for each campaign across web, product pages, packaging, emails, banners, and ads, working cross-functionally to ensure you have the necessary context and details.
  • Adapt tone and messaging to reflect a diverse roster of creator voices, assets, products and campaign goals, often working on multiple launches simultaneously.
  • Deliver polished copy documents on tight timelines, working closely with the marketing design team to align copy with design and web best practices.
  • Review and refine existing storefront, product and email flow copy for clarity, engagement, and marketing best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is equal parts performance marketer and creative writer. You’re just as comfortable crafting conversion-focused copy and client presentations as you are scheduling emails and tracking performance. You have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments. You take ownership of your work and adapt quickly to changing needs to help make every launch a success.

  • Experience managing end-to-end campaigns across digital channels (email, web, ads), with 3–5+ years in digital or D2C marketing.
  • Strategic thinker who connects brand goals to execution—from writing briefs to deploying assets and reporting on results.
  • Strong copywriter who can adapt voice and tone across a diverse range of creators without relying on AI.
  • Attention to detail and a high bar for quality; ensure all assets (copy, creative, live links) are polished and error-free.
  • Confident interpreting performance data and using it to refine messaging, strategy, and next steps.
  • Excellent communicator who works cross-functionally to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables across teams and time zones.
  • Skilled in client-facing communication; able to present campaign plans and insights in a clear, professional, and polished manner.
  • Proficient in Asana, Slack, Google Suite, and other task management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong visual communicator; comfortable building presentation decks for internal and external use.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Passionate about internet culture, the creator economy, and the ever-evolving digital media landscape.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation + Benefits – Includes paid time off and a company-wide paid shutdown during the December holiday season.
  • Remote-First Work Environment – Juniper has offices in Toronto and Vancouver. However, we let employees choose what work setting works best for them.
  • Flexible Work Schedule – We accommodate flexible hours, as long as you are delivering results and maintaining a seamless workflow with your team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Annual Allowance – Invest in your wellness, education, home office setup, and more.

Juniper is an equal opportunity employer. If you are in need of an accommodation as part of the interview process, please let us know when you apply.

We know that experience comes in many different forms. If you do not meet all the specified qualifications but feel you're a great fit for this role based on your skills, interests, and vision, let us know why.
