Position: Cloud Network Engineer – Hybrid Cloud Focus 

Location: Czechia, Germany or Spain-based (Remote possible)

Employment type: Full-time | Permanent | Up to 20% travel

Salary guide: 55-65,000+ Euro/year

About the Role: 

This key engineering role is at the core of a hybrid cloud environment supporting critical enterprise and customer-facing applications. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the future of secure, scalable network infrastructure across Azure and on-premises platforms. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking engineering team that works at a global scale, without unnecessary red tape. What you’ll be doing

• Design, implement, and support network architectures across Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• Deploy and maintain secure routing, switching, firewalling, gateways, traffic managers, DNS, and other network services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, application, infrastructure) to troubleshoot and optimise systems.
• Leverage tools like Terraform, Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Support compliance, disaster recovery plans, and monitoring for global systems.
• Stay on top of emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of experience in enterprise networking and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), cloud topologies (hub/spoke, mesh), and Azure network services.
• Experience with SDN, API gateways, and multi-cloud environments (Azure is a must; AWS or GCP is a plus).
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, especially within globally distributed teams.
• Agile or DevOps team experience is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications like AZ-700, AZ-104, and AZ-900 are a big plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%).
