Hemophilia Community Consultant - Texas 

 

Bayer is seeking a passionate Hemophilia Community Consultant to cultivate strong relationships with Hemophilia community members and stakeholders, including patients, specialty pharmacies, and national, regional, and local chapters. You will collaborate with the HCP Field Force to achieve geography-based business plans, accelerating high-value patient starts and switches to Bayer hemophilia products. Your role will involve establishing Bayer branded and unbranded programs within the Hemophilia Community, promoting Bayer's commitment, and engaging with both Bayer and non-Bayer patients to support disease and treatment education.

 

The location for this position will be residence based, and will be responsible for the following states: 

TX, LA, OK, AR.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Take ownership of a US territory, cultivating relationships with Hemophilia community members and stakeholders, including homecare partners, patient advocacy groups, and patients;
  • Establish cross-territorial business plans in alignment with Hemophilia Sales Consultants/Executives, contributing to $400M in annual sales for the portfolio;
  • Meet or exceed sales or volume metrics;
  • Engage with homecare partners and chapters to support their needs, ensuring long-term relationships and access to key stakeholders;
  • Manage relationships with other key customers in collaboration with HCP-facing colleagues;
  • Adapt to multiple engagement channels, including email, virtual meetings, face-to-face meetings, and Speaker Programs;
  • Relay feedback through the Regional Team and/or Marketing to support continuous improvement efforts;
  • Collaborate with HSC/HSEs to pull through contracts with external partners;
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of hemophilia products and disease states, serving as a presenter within your territory;
  • Support other HCS/HCEs in advancing strategic objectives through Speaker Programs or 1:1 engagement.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 4 years overall work experience with experience in hemophilia care, treatment, sales, or advocacy; BA/BS required, biological science or related discipline preferred;
  • Prior sales experience in the healthcare industry is preferred;
  • Must be able to handle extensive travel, including overnight and weekend trips;
  • Fluent in Spanish in selected territories is preferred;
  • Territory and organizational management skills;
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English; Spanish language preferred in selected territories;
  • Highly adaptive and willing to engage in physical and virtual channels;
  • Excellent persuasive communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills;
  • Advanced ability to think strategically and work in teams;
  • Computer competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required;
  • Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $130,429.00 - $195,644.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. 

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
