This is a remote position.

Full-time (40 hours a week))

Work schedule: Mon-Fri 9 AM- 6 PM (MST) includes 1h unpaid break.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly focused Investment Events Researcher to identify and categorize global investor-focused events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets, be capable of distinguishing between different types of investors and events, and possess excellent research and data entry skills. Your work will directly support strategic planning and outreach efforts by supplying accurate and categorized event data.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth online research to identify investor-focused events globally
Categorize events by audience: institutional investors, retail investors, or both
Identify and document events that involve publicly traded companies
Accurately log detailed specifications such as event type, audience, date, location, and organizer
Distinguish between investor events and non-investor events (e.g., trade shows, general education sessions)
Maintain organized, updated research databases based on defined guidelines
Perform deep-dive research for extended, uninterrupted periods
Ensure data accuracy in all entries; all details must match source material precisely
Coordinate with and provide reports to both the Principal Founder and Head of Operations

Requirements

Strong online research skills with high attention to detail
Working knowledge of financial markets, especially publicly and privately held companies
Ability to understand and differentiate between institutional and retail investor events
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable working independently and staying focused for long periods
Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or similar tools
Willingness to learn and follow specific research parameters
Fast learner with the ability to distinguish relevant event types and filter out non-target events
Familiarity with financial/investment terminology is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in financial research, event sourcing, or capital markets
Background in investor relations, finance, or data entry involving market research
