As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of a team responsible for supporting product, platform, and systems engineering teams. This role within the Platform team will focus on contributing to the delivery and maintenance of EverWell’s infrastructure and delivery platforms. Working closely with senior engineers, you’ll help enable other teams by building and supporting reliable cloud solutions.
You have a solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud technology, with a developing track record of delivering well-considered solutions using current methodologies and patterns.
In our role as a SaaS company, providing customers and business stakeholders with a highly available and stable platform is crucial. You will play a key part in this - ready to react to incidents as needed while contributing to the implementation of innovative, efficient, and secure solutions and products.
What you'll bring.
3+ years coding skills such as Python, C#, PowerShell, Typescript, etc., and applying these effectively in your day-to-day activities.
The ability to operate with increasing autonomy, effectively prioritizing your time and making independent decisions within your scope, while knowing when to seek guidance.
Ability to understand the various elements of a SaaS environment and apply learnings from Agile and DevOps methodologies to enable efficient delivery.
Contributing to identifying root causes and going beyond treating symptoms, demonstrating persistence in solving problems.
A commitment to continuous learning with technical curiosity, and a willingness to share this with your team.
Contributing to team efforts outside of your core specialization and being open to alternative perspectives.
Ability to learn automation and integration tools, understanding API systems, CI/CD, data flow across systems, and stateful/stateless systems.
Ability to listen well, instead of reacting fast, so you can understand better and ensure services are delivered with quality and scale considered.
Analysing technical requirements to contribute to feature development.
Providing efficient and effective answers to support tickets and general technical queries from the wider company, escalating when necessary.
