Job description

Inizio Engage has a new and exciting partnership with a leading biotechnology company, supporting its Commercial, Patient Solutions, and Medical Affairs divisions. 

 

This role is responsible for identifying program training needs, creating and maintaining SOPs, new creation of training materials-based client request, quality review of program and/or program changes.  

The Manager, Quality & Training is responsible for training Inizio staff, Field and/or Call Center assigned to a particular Client project. Includes initial orientation/new hire training, on-going refresher training and project specific training.

What will you be doing?   

  • Work with Inizio’s Human Resources & Development, Call Center, and Field departments, as well as the Client, to develop and enhance training of all Inizio associates on the Client project, resulting in improved customer satisfaction, quality of service and compliance with both Inizio’s and the Client’s standards of excellence. 

  • Define and document training plans, schedules, and requirements. Design, develop and revise training and instructional materials for classroom use, ad-hoc and/or self-administered training. Provide ongoing and refresher training for all members of team, which may include training field personnel in a remote fashion. 

  • Make recommendations on the best methodology and implementation methods for the training programs. Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops in collaboration with the Client. 

  • Develop and conduct new hire employee and/or contractor orientation training in conjunction with Inizio’s Corporate Trainers. 

  • Create e-Learning modules and reference materials for Inizio’s LMS and/or Client systems as appropriate. Work with the Inizio Quality Assurance department to maintain these modules and reference materials in Inizio’s LMS. 

  • Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training including facilitation of training at POA meetings, regional meetings etc. and provide this content to team members not present in an effective manner. 

  • Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods. 

  • Manage and monitor all new employee trainings, working with Quality Assurance, Corporate Trainers, Business Unit Directors, Client Account Managers, direct Supervisors, Regional Field Managers, Regional Field Trainers, and/or the Client to ensure all training is successfully completed in a timely manner. 

  • Review and interpret documents such as client program procedure manuals and training modules. Interpret and translate to staff the instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

  • Create process flow diagrams, write routine reports, and provide clear written documentation to the Client and Inizio Senior Leadership. 

What do you need for this position?   

  • Active RN License Required 

  • Must be bright, articulate, detail oriented and highly organized. 

  • Ability to develop and proof training materials, educational design experience strongly preferred. 

  • Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees. 

  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills; must be flexible and be able to adjust to ever changing priorities to accommodate the training process. 

  • Ability to work as a team in a supportive environment to achieve shared objectives. 

  • Ability to function in a leadership capacity and as a positive role model. 

  • Excellent listening skills in order to identify and anticipate training needs. 

  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 

  • Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
