We’re seeking an Infor IPS Utility Billing Technical Analyst who can develop practical, creative solutions to address critical business needs across the meter-to-cash lifecycle. This individual will communicate implementable, cost-effective designs while articulating value-added benefits and ROI. They will provide technical guidance and recommendations that align with both short—and long-term business goals, helping utility clients confidently modernize their systems and processes.

Essential Job Functions

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop solutions for modernizing utility companies and municipalities by applying a professional industry-wide understanding of the business domain area, technology, tools, and methodologies.
Understand current product technologies and future industry and information technology trends, and apply them appropriately in formulating solutions for our clients.
Analyze software requirements, define solution parameters and specifications, and manage the Software Development Lifecycle.
Review and understand multiple designs and ensure creative and cohesive solutions are formed.
Perform fact-finding, analysis, and development-related activities on projects.
Solution And Business Domain Experience
Strong experience in the implementation, support, and user experience of Customer Information System (CIS) solutions as part of overall Meter-to-Cash business processes.
Business understanding of the value, benefits, and functional capabilities of Customer Information System (CIS) solutions as part of the overall Meter-to-Cash business processes.
Business change management/transformation experience in supporting Utility transition from legacy CIS solutions and integrating modern Utility billing products with other enterprise applications and customer-facing initiatives.

Competencies

Phenomenal customer-facing, consulting, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to assess existing client challenges/opportunities and present additional Origin service offerings to client(s) when applicable.
