Position Title: Senior Restaurant Construction & Project Manager
Work Set-up: Work From Home
Schedule: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Salary: Php 80,000 – Php 90,000

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SENIOR RESTAURANT CONSTRUCTION & PROJECT MANAGER

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Restaurant Construction & Project Manager would be:
• Lead multiple restaurant construction projects remotely from pre-construction through grand opening, acting as the main project coordinator across internal teams, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Manage detailed project schedules, construction budgets, permitting timelines, and vendor deliverables using cloud-based platforms.
• Review, interpret, and mark up architectural plans, MEP drawings, kitchen layouts, and construction documents to ensure alignment with operational and brand standards.
• Work closely with architects and consultants to guide the design process and proactively identify constructability issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Facilitate daily/weekly virtual check-ins with project stakeholders to drive accountability, troubleshoot issues, and keep timelines intact.
• Monitor project progress using digital tools, video calls, photos, and reporting dashboards; ensure adherence to quality, safety, and brand standards.
• Coordinate permitting, health department approvals, inspections, and compliance milestones across jurisdictions.
• Manage the final critical path to opening, including direct coordination with vendors such as Coca-Cola, Ecolab, ice machine providers, POS and low-voltage teams, Wi-Fi, hood installers, grease trap service, and other essential pre-opening logistics.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, identify risks, and implement remote solutions that keep projects on time and on budget.
• Ensure a clean operational handoff by collaborating with facilities, operations, and IT to finalize punch lists and onboard service providers.

Qualifications as a Senior Restaurant Construction & Project Manager:
• 5+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality construction management—with a strong track record of managing full project cycles.
• Deep expertise in reading and analyzing architectural plans, shop drawings, equipment schedules, and spec books.
• Extensive experience working directly with architects, engineers, and general contractors to bring high-design spaces to life.
• Skilled in virtual project management using tools like Procore, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of restaurant-specific infrastructure (kitchens, bar systems, HVAC, ADA, health code).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Operates like an air traffic controller—highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
• Understands not just how to build a restaurant, but how to open one—down to the equipment hookups, vendor scheduling, and operational readiness.
• Experienced in managing projects remotely with strong digital communication and accountability tools.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and fully capable of leading a team without stepping foot on site.
