The Senior Business Applications Project Manager is responsible for overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives related to the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise business applications. This role leads high-impact projects and programs across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. The Senior Business Applications Project Manager partners with senior leadership, business stakeholders, IT, and application teams to drive successful outcomes, ensure business readiness, and deliver long-term value
Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead strategic, high-visibility projects and programs related to business systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and other enterprise platformsDrive all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, execution, change management, and benefits realizationDevelop detailed project and program roadmaps that align with business goals and stakeholder prioritiesCollaborate with inter-departmental and cross-functional team members to gather requirements, identify dependencies, and define measurable success criteriaIdentify and manage program risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate appropriately and ensure mitigation plans are in placePrepare executive-level communications, dashboards, and presentations highlighting status, risks, KPIs, and impactFoster a culture of ownership and accountability among project teams and provide mentoring or guidance to less experienced project managersChampion best practices in project delivery, agile/hybrid methodologies, and business process improvementConduct lessons learned and continuous improvement activities post-implementationOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field7+ years of experience leading business application or IT projectsPMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification Experience managing enterprise-level programs or portfoliosDemonstrated success managing multi-system initiatives involving platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuiteProven ability to manage enterprise-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence, lead change, and drive alignment at all levelsExpertise in project and program management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)Experience using Jira and Confluence for project managementStrong knowledge of business systems and processes across finance, sales, and operationsSkilled at managing vendor relationships and third-party deliverablesExperience with resource planning, financial tracking, and benefits realizationComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environmentsFamiliarity with change management frameworks and organizational readiness planningWhy AHEAD:

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
