The role of a Data-Driven Adoption and Change Management Lead within an Operations Excellence Organization—encompassing factory analytics, advanced manufacturing, and business systems—requires a multifaceted skill set. This includes expertise in digital transformation, data analytics, process optimization, and organizational change management. Below is a comprehensive job requisition description based on industry standards and current best practices.

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the adoption of data-centric solutions and lead change management initiatives across our Operations Excellence Organization in Mission Systems. This role will focus on integrating advanced analytics, smart manufacturing technologies, and business systems to enhance factory performance, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies, including stakeholder assessment, communication plans, leadership alignment, and end-user training
  • Facilitate organizational transformation by fostering a culture that embraces operations excellence (tools, technology & process) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide coaching and support to front-line managers and supervisors to navigate transitions and ensure successful adoption of new tools, technology and/or process.
  • Monitor and report on adoption metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and monitor operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DT, Enterprise Operations, Site Operations to ensure alignment between Mission 5 Year roadmaps and enterprise prioritization.
  • Serve as a change agent, leading by influence to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization
  • Engage with executive leadership to provide updates on progress, challenges, and successes related to operations excellence and change management initiatives.
  • Travel up to 25% to visit key sites.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years in manufacturing, process improvement, or operations management.
  • Agile Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Manufacturing, data analytics tools (Databricks, Tableau), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Jira
  • Strong understanding of Change Management and Organizational effectiveness, advanced manufacturing technologies, analytics & lean.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
