Director of Operations - Northern California

Position Summary 

Vector has an opening for Director of Operations in Northern, CA.  This position is responsible for multiple contract site operations in a variety of locations in California.  This position will be managing Site Managers, and will report to the Executive Vice President.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the following aspects of each site:

  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Staffing and retention
  • Budget management
  • Assist in pricing development for RFP responses
  • Perform annual contract reviews with customers
  • Assist in determining annual price increases
  • Attend pre-bid meetings for potential new business
  • Perform other duties as designated by EVP

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Years of experience: 10
  • Educational requirements: High School graduate with some college preferred
  • Fleet maintenance management experience
  • Previous multi-location management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Very comfortable with public speaking and presentations
  • Discipline: a proven track record as a self-starter and adherence to company policies
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as it relates to internal and external customers
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and operational level
  • Travel up to 60%

 

This position is remote, but must be based in the Northern, CA area.  It will require approximately 60% travel.  

 

Compensation:

  • Starting from $120,000 -$150,000 annual salary PLUS BONUS
