The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking a results-driven Sr. Financial Analyst (m/f/x)* to support our Global Supply Chain (GSC) Logistics team. This role will provide end-to-end financial support across key logistics operations, including distribution center (DC) management, transportation and freight, duties, and warehousing. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Serve as the primary finance partner to the GSC Logistics team, providing financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting for global freight, duties, warehousing, and DC operations.
Develop and maintain cost models to evaluate logistics spend and identify drivers of variances and opportunities for cost optimization.
Support business cases for network strategy decisions, new DCs, automation initiatives, and logistics transformation projects.
Monitor KPIs and create dashboards to track logistics performance against financial targets.
Assist in the development of the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans for logistics.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and reporting for logistics-related expenses.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
Profound experience in FP&A, with logistics, transportation, or supply chain finance experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and modeling skills with a deep understanding of logistics cost structures and drivers.
High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and business partnership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and a process improvement mindset.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
