Job Summary:
PetPartners, a subsidiary of IPH, is seeking a Senior Manager, Relationship Management to lead a high-performing team responsible for driving growth in the employee benefits (EB) space through partnerships with HR professionals and benefits brokers across North America. This individual plays a key role in executing strategy, expanding market presence, and ensuring long-term retention and satisfaction within the pet insurance voluntary benefit program.
This role blends strategic execution with operational oversight, including leadership of complex interdepartmental initiatives, sales team performance, regulatory compliance, and executive-level client relationships. In 2025, the scope of this role will expand to include management and account growth for Canadian EB clients.
Main Responsibilities:
In collaboration with senior leadership, designs, develops, and implements focused functional area strategies for continued growth of the functional area.
Develops and implements new strategies, programs, and process improvements to ensure successful launches of the pet insurance employee benefit amongst brokers and employer groups.
Removes barriers in client onboarding, new-client implementation, and marketing that prohibit team members from maximizing participation in the voluntary benefit plan, meeting sales quotas, and providing a seamless client experience.
Serves as the escalation point of contact for client account management matters.
Ensures effective workflows, maximizes system efficiencies, monitors quality performance measures, and confirms appropriate completion of work assignments.
Designs, develops, implements, and tracks quality process improvements to further optimize sales and lead conversion rates.
Delivers performance reviews, recognition, and rewards excellent individual and team performance and administers disciplinary action, as necessary.
Develops and enhances the team’s selling skills. Mentors the team in career advancement, selling skills, and professional growth/development.
Manages relationships with stakeholders and liaises with high level clients both on-site and at conference/shows.
Performs the role of business lead in cross functional projects.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Experience: 8+ years’ relevant experience to include leadership
Licenses/Certifications: Must have and maintain Property & Casualty License or must obtain within 45 days of hire
Other:
Some travel required
Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residency
Must have and maintain vehicle insurance on transportation used for travel to customer sites or conferences/shows
