Job description

Riveron is looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (CPQ) who will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our Quote-to-Cash operations. In this position, you will leverage your deep functional expertise in Salesforce CPQ to streamline complex sales processes and support scalable system enhancements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, and Operations—to define business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless system integration and performance.

Who You Are:
  • You are a skilled Salesforce Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience in systems analysis and 4+ years hands-on expertise in Salesforce CPQ.
  • You bring deep knowledge of CPQ components—Product Setup, Configuration Rules, Pricing, Discounting, Approvals, and Quote Templates.
  • You’ve worked with complex CPQ implementations at scale, and you understand the broader Salesforce ecosystem, including its data model and integrations.
  • You excel in translating business needs into functional requirements, and you're adept at partnering with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, and Pricing. You’re confident in supporting cross-functional projects, ensuring end-to-end process alignment, and communicating changes across business and technical teams.
  • You have a strong grasp of Quote-to-Cash processes, Opportunity and Order Management, and have experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with systems like NetSuite.
  • You're collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and have a passion for streamlining systems and processes for real business impact.

  • What You’ll Do:
  • Apply your deep technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ to enhance, optimize, and support its core functionality across the business.
  • Define and document functional requirements, gather stakeholder inputs, assist in feature design, and lead user acceptance testing.
  • Simplify complex CPQ processes and workflows into clear, actionable formats for business users and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Pricing, Finance, and Operations teams to maintain and enhance CPQ configurations and scale them effectively.
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, including process diagrams, technical specs, and presentations outlining current and proposed CPQ functionality.
  • Analyze business needs, identify optimization opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions that align with strategic goals.
  • Maintain a holistic view of CPQ-related workflows, understanding how system changes affect reporting, automation, and user experience.
  • Support cross-functional projects by ensuring system changes are aligned and communicating effectively with BSA counterparts and technical leads.
  • Build and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional testing and UAT, to validate changes and maintain system stability.
