About ProBio

ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. Position: Senior Lab Technologist (Protein Expression/Purification)

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing a wide range of technical and analytical tasks in our state-of-the-art laboratory
• Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Documenting procedures, protocols, and findings in a detailed and organised manner
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Providing training and mentorship to junior lab technicians as required
• Ensuring strict adherence to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures
  
  
  

Protein Expression

• Responsible for resuscitation, passage, transfection, culture and other experiments of mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO
• Perform cell culture experiments, data analysis and documentation of the results
  
  
  

Protein Purification

• Purification of mammalian recombinant antibody and protein by affinity chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, size exclusion chromatography and other methods
• Formulate appropriate purification scheme according to order requirements
• Responsible for filling-in and verifying records related to purification experiment
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
• Proficient in the use of various laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate and precise work
• Experience in managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as life sciences, chemistry, or biotechnology
