About the Role

We are a growing IT consulting services business seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile software development methodologies, experience overseeing agile scrum software development and IT-related projects, and a deep understanding of IT compliance, specifically within the framework of ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.

As a key member of our team, you will oversee agile development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client requirements while exceeding their expectations. At the same time, our project manager will play a crucial role in supporting our security ISMS team and contributing to our ISO certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Agile Scrum Project Management:

• Lead, manage, and oversee multiple agile scrum software development projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet client needs.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor project progress, adjust timelines, and manage project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, and deliverables

Participation in IT Compliance and ISO Certification:

• Work as a member of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) team, supporting ongoing compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for ISMS, including policies, procedures, and control measures.
• Contribute to internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with IT security policies and quality management systems.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure proper documentation of processes and align with certification requirements.

Quality Management System (QMS):

• Ensure that agile software development processes align with the quality standards defined by ISO 9001.
• Monitor and promote continuous improvement of processes to maintain high-quality service delivery.
• Document and manage quality assurance activities, ensuring they meet compliance standards and client expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing agile software development projects, with a solid understanding of scrum methodology.
• Proven experience participating in or leading IT compliance initiatives, particularly in relation to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and their application in IT service delivery.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and effective reports and process documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, AzureDevOps).
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to obtain clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with risk management processes.
• Experience with cloud technologies and security best practices.
• Background in IT security and risk management.
