Job description

At Aivo, an Engageware company, we seek a talented Senior Marketing Manager - Events to join our team. We seek a strategic and hands on event marketer with experience driving brand awareness and lead generation through events in Latin America and the United States. This role requires a deep understanding of the Latin American market, cultural nuances, and event marketing best practices across the region.

 

The ideal candidate has a “can do” attitude and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. They thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, blending B2B marketing expertise with tactical execution. You’ll be responsible for defining the event strategy for Latin America and the United States, identifying the best opportunities to build brand presence and generate pipeline.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

 

  • Develop and execute a regional event strategy focused on Latin America and the US, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events that drive awareness and sales pipeline.
  • Create a portfolio of innovative experiences for our customers and prospects including Engageware-hosted events, aligned with overall business objectives. 
  • Deliver exceptional and unique attendee experiences which build brand affinity, pre-event attendee outreach, drive engagement, attendance, participation, post-event follow-up response and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with regional sales, channel partners, and executives to define event messaging, speaker selection, training, and content strategy.
  • Recommend and secure speaking opportunities, promotional opportunities and sponsorship opportunities aligned with goals.
  • Lead marquee brand customer event ReEngage. 
  • Identify and pursue partner-provided marketing opportunities that expand awareness with partners and grow our footprint, partner conferences, promotional programs, enablement programs and internal and external partner-led communications.
  • Set success criteria, manage key audiences, measure and report out the impact of each major event on awareness, engagement and pipeline acceleration and ROI.
  • Responsible and accountable for event budget including vendor management, invoice management and forecast for events in both Latin America and the U.S.

 

Role Requirements:

 

  • 5-7+ years in marketing, preferably B2B marketing with relevant work experience in corporate events, preferably in a B2B SaaS. 
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills who can drive projects from start to finish.
  • Experience planning, managing, and executing events across multiple countries in Latin America, understanding cultural nuanes and regional business practices.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese (preferred).
  • Proven track record in partner-led marketing programs and event sponsorships within Latin America.
  • You have success in planning, overseeing, and executing the operations and activities of successful events. 
  • Leverage data and feedback to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Creative and innovative thinking with a willingness to take risks, fail fast, iterate and learn.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and be a trusted partner.
  • Familiarity with a range of mar-tech tools (Our stack includes HubSpot, Salesforce, 6Sense).
  • Travel across parts of South and North America where needed to be on-site for events.
