Communicate with clients, family members, and the admin team regarding care and scheduling.

Document and update all schedule changes, requests, and incidents in the call log.

Evaluate caregivers and manage their performance, including training and disciplinary actions.

Job description

*Scheduling new and existing clients
*Communicating with clients and/or their authorized family members, caregivers, affiliated institutions such as Veterans Affairs (known as the VA) and PACE, and the admin team including RNs
*Management of client care needs
*"Cleaning shifts" for invoicing and payroll, including reading care notes and ensuring task lists are properly completed
*Management of caregivers which may include teaching and reminding staff of policies and procedures, advising, disciplinary actions, and submitting worker's compensation forms
*Documenting and updating the call log on all schedule changes and requests, recording pertinent conversations, approving/declining time off requests, changes to client status and care needs, changes to caregiver availability, incidents, evaluations, and interruptions of services (such as a hospital stay)
*Caregiver evaluations and pay rate increases

Requirements

Hard and soft skills:

The scheduler will need to have a working knowledge of the following software as well as be able and willing to adapt and learn if the software changes: Axiscare - scheduling and chat communication software. Vonage - communication software, text, voice, admin group chats and voicemails.. Viventium payroll processing and paid/unpaid time off request software. Google C suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive etc.) We update and use an availability spreadsheet in Google Sheets Gmail- email, and access to C suite
