Urgent Hiring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Livermore, California

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Work Location: In person

Job Description:

We are growing and have more clients than we can handle. We are looking to fill a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. The therapist will be responsible for providing relationship counseling, family therapy, and mental health services to clients of diverse backgrounds. The therapist will work with individuals, couples, and families to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide clinical intervention to improve client outcomes. The therapist will also maintain clinical records and consult with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

  • As a Therapist, you'll provide therapy services to clients of all ages and backgrounds, both face-to-face as well as through telehealth, to do the following:
  • Diagnose and treat various mental health conditions
  • Conduct therapy sessions with clients
  • Develop a customized treatment plan based on each client's needs
  • Monitor each client's progress during ongoing treatment
  • Complete session notes promptly

Requirements

  • Active LMFT license in the state of California (required)
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience in relationship counseling, counseling, family therapy, and mental health services
  • Strong understanding of psychology and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Experience in working with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnosis skills
