Job description

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented, innovative, team-oriented associate that makes Merkle more than the sum of its parts. The Program Manager is a business and technology consultant who will lead Salesforce platform implementation projects through providing strategy, business process, and technology implementation consulting. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing client relationships, project documentation, and leading projects from kickoff to successful deployment. Additionally, you will be able to lead and deliver Salesforce core projects knowledgeably and in scope, on time, and within budget, while exceeding client expectations. This is a great opportunity to work on delivering solutions in a variety of industries and across multiple Salesforce products.

Responsibilities
  • You will work as part of a delivery team dedicated to the implementation of a custom Salesforce core platform solution for clients.

  • You will be responsible for managing the client relationship for the duration of your assigned projects.

  • You will be responsible for leading platform strategy, business process consulting, and technology consulting conversations and efforts.

  • You will work with the project team to identify project risks and mitigation strategies.

  • You will help lead the design of Salesforce core platform (Sales, Service, Loyalty Management) solutions for clients.

  • You will help lead and provide oversight across the entire delivery lifecycle, including, but not limited to:

    • Requirements gathering

    • Documentation and project deliverables

    • Diagrams and flowcharts, such as application ecosystem diagrams, current state/future state diagrams, data model diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams

    • On-platform configuration

    • Testing (in-sprint dev testing, end-to-end / integration testing, and user acceptance testing)

    • Data migration activities

    • Client training

    • Deployment activities

  • You will stay updated on new Salesforce functionalities, best practices, and industry trends to recommend solutions.

Qualifications
  • Preferred certifications (at least one of): Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Data Architect, Platform Developer I, and/or Sharing and Visibility Architect

  • 3+ years of experience implementing Salesforce platform (core) - multiple implementations

  • 3+ years of experience implementing software development lifecycle process

  • 2+ years of experience leading Salesforce implementation projects in a consulting capacity

  • Experience leading and managing discussions including communicating requirements to different audiences

  • Experience with the Atlassian suite or comparable products for feature/ticket backlog management and documentation.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
