ACS Motion Control is seeking a technical and ambitious individual with significant experience in the field of motion control to identify new business opportunities, develop new customers and relationships, and ultimately grow sales in the territory. This position includes business development, sales management, technical sales, and account management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the sales in the territory
• Increase company revenue and profitability
• Make sure that customers and partners receive adequate and timely technical support.
• Identify and develop new customers and applications, with focus on semiconductor, laser processing, and other target market segments
• Identify and develop new channel partners
• Develop and execute mutual action plans with key sales channel partners
• Provide regular activity reports to company management
• communicate product and application feedback and requirements from customers and sales channels to the marketing department.
Required Skills and Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in selling motion control products such as motion
controllers, motor drives, precision motion stages, motors, actuators, encoders
• 2-3 years of experience in managing regional sales of multimillion USD
• Technical skills and experience
o bachelor's degree or higher in motion control related engineering field
(Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics). Additional MBA or business-related degree
preferred.
o Industrial OEM automation / motion control sales experience (Semiconductors
and Laser Processing equipment field are preferred)
o A basic understanding of high precision closed loop motion control systems and
their components/technologies: motion controllers, servo drives, servomotors,
encoders, PID control, real time motion programs, PC based host programs.
o Ability to prepare complex solution proposals
o Ability to give technical sales presentations and training to small groups
• A passion for sales, business development, and entrepreneurship.
• Experience in working at a global high-tech company
• Technically Oriented: Must be willing and capable to present, explain and discuss
product and feature details
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with
customers. Must be able to communicate face to face with customers and confidently
represent him/herself and the company to others.
•Self-motivated and independent
• Assertive with strong negotiation skills
• Fluent in English and Standard Chinese languages (speak, read, write)
Travel
o Up to 50% overnight, primarily to customers, channel partners and tradeshows
in the region
o Every year, 1-2 visits at ACS headquarters in Israel
