Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client, a global healthcare company, is looking for a dedicated Senior ERP & Product Configuration Analyst to join their team. This role demands a hands-on professional with a strong background in ERP systems (SAP), product configuration, and production process support. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between local manufacturing operations and IT systems, ensuring seamless system integration and operational efficiency.

This is a contractual position, through the end of 2025. With the likelihood of an extension into 2026. This is an on-site role working in the client's Schweinfurt, Germany facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the product configurator, ensuring accuracy, flexibility, and usability across production processes.
Act as a specialist for interfaces between local ERP systems (SAP) and external/internal applications, ensuring smooth data flow and process integration.
Provide local production support on the shop floor, maintaining close alignment with operational teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
Maintain a deep understanding of local AMD production processes and actively support and improve them through IT solutions.
Possess profound knowledge of product configuration, including variant management and dependency logic.
Ensure efficient and reliable data exchange between major applications, using expertise in interface technologies and protocols.
Support and troubleshoot applications and databases that drive production and business processes.
Utilize expertise in operating systems and database technologies to maintain and optimize application performance.

Requirements

Proven experience with SAP ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing or production environments.
Strong knowledge of product configuration tools and concepts.
Experience in interface development and support, especially data integration between enterprise systems.
Deep understanding of production processes, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in databases and application support, with strong problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
