Role Overview:

The Endpoint Engineer manages, secures, and optimizes the deployment and performance of endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops) across an organization. This role ensures endpoint systems are secure, up-to-date, and aligned with business and IT objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, MECM, JAMF, BeyondTrust).
Develop and maintain OS images and automate application deployments.
Package and publish applications for virtual desktop environments (e.g., Windows 365, AVD, VMware).
Monitor endpoint health, performance, and compliance.
Implement and manage endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, encryption, EDR, MDM).
Conduct vulnerability scans and respond to endpoint-related security incidents.
Collaborate with IT security, application support, and infrastructure teams.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base content.
Participate in software metering and lifecycle management.
Stay updated on endpoint technology trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of experience in endpoint management or systems administration.
Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Intune, MECM, JAMF, and Patch My PC.
Strong understanding of Windows and macOS environments.
Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
Certifications such as Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus
