Job description

Role Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Marketing to join our team and lead all marketing activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across diverse marketing channels. As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, driving customer engagement, and fueling our company’s growth.

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement innovative and results-driven product marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract new engagements, and contribute to overall revenue expansion. 
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing operations, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and public relations.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring maximum ROI on marketing investments.
  • Build out and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute long-term marketing campaigns that showcase product innovation, company milestones, and strategic advancements.
  • Work with company stakeholders to evaluate and align marketing requests with strategic goals, focusing on efforts that drive measurable business value.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and use insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement processes to gather marketable company insights, client wins, contract milestones, and internal achievements to fuel marketing and brand storytelling.
  • Identify and prioritize events for marketing activities and lead logistic coordination.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance the company’s marketing capabilities and expand its reach.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in marketing strategies and tactics.

Travel Expectations/Requirements: 10%

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated excellence in a senior product marketing role, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Experience leading a defense technology marketing team or passion to support the national security enterprise. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven experience collaborating closely with product and marketing teams to develop and implement comprehensive technology-driven strategies to advance awareness, adoption, and growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, as well as familiarity with analytics platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fully remote work environment.
  • Passion for technology and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience. Compensation ranges are established using national benchmarking data and apply across all geographic locations within the United States.
