About the Job: Our client is looking for an HR Specialist eager to help facilitate the daily processes of our clients company. You will have a chance to help build and deliver the focus of talent acquisition, retention, general recruiting, and employee retention for our partner's rapidly growing e-commerce company.


Responsibilities:

  • Help grow the company through recruiting, onboarding, retaining, and developing top talent.
  • Research, review, and revise compensation packages.
  • Handles pre-employment background checks, new hire paperwork, onboarding processes and new employee orientations
  • Assist in termination process (setting up exit interviews, processing termination paperwork and off boarding routine activities
  • Serves as a point of contact for the following employee lifecycle events: hiring, onboarding, job changes, compensation changes, and termination.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, including ideally in a fast growing tech startup environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and employment law, employee Benefit Administration, HRIS and Payroll.
  • Experience scaling a startup team.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and independent, but collaborative work style.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, project-management, and creative skills—with an ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in word and excel
  • Experience with Workday
